Ministries

Home Groups: Small-group meetings in people’s homes during the week.  Each Home Group has its own focus and meets seasonally for one year.

 

Kingdom Kids: Children ages 5 through 4th grade meet during the second half of the Sunday morning worship service.

 

Missions Committee: The Missions Committee serves as a liaison between Gloucester Assembly of God’s supported missionaries, the congregation and the elder board. The committee works to nurture a strong interdependent relationship between the church’s partners and congregation.

 

Nursing Home Ministry: This ministry regularly visits the elderly at local nursing homes.

 

Nursery: Sunday morning childcare is available for infants through 4 year olds.

 

Youth Group: The youth of the church and community are invited to gather for a time of fun, discussion, and connection. Other events are also planned for the youth. See announcements for times and locations.

Missions Faith Promise Renewal

As a congregation, we support six organizations who are working around the world. We send them money out of our missions account which is funded by gifts designated specifically for “missions” (not by general tithes and offerings). Based on what the congregation has pledged to give collectively through the year, the Missions Committee prayerfully determines how much money we send each Kingdom Partner each month.
